Size. 21 x 38 cm (approx. 8,2 x 14.9 inch)

Materials. Hand-printed on Japanese Awagami Bunkoshi Select paper (70 gsm) with high-quality oil-based lightfast inks. The paper is neutrally glued, acid-free, and aging-resistant.

Because this linocut is hand-printed, all prints have small deviations.

Reduction and Jigsaw editions

While working on this design, I ran into an interesting situation. Originally, I started it as a Jigsaw linocut and made 32 prints out of it. However, later on, after I got really tired of fighting with Jigsaw and the number of misprints I had, I decided to switch to reduction, starting from scratch and printing 75 more prints.

Both techniques come with their own set of artifacts and imperfections, which I deeply love. In addition, there are a few small deviations I introduced while carving the design a second time. I felt that seeing both variants would be interesting to some of you.
